Waiting upon The Lord…
“Isaiah 40:31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
In releasing our Faith by the spoken Word of prayer, the Lord always hears our cries. God is ever present in the affairs of His children and provides intercession based on the Blood of Christ. However, the Lord is outside our jurisdiction of time and answers when He knows it is at our best interest. The wait can produce doubt, but rest assure God always answers prayer.
Though God does not answer prayer at our convenience at times, the wait that patience produces amounts to strength and character. I believe once we ask God, spiritually the answer is released to us. It is up to us at time to receive His answer in the natural realm.
This time can be thought of as a reflection of the event. We can think about what caused it and what correction if any is needed in our personal lives. To prevent future mistakes and provide spiritual edification. Isaiah 40:31 provided insight into what a Believer can expect when the spiritual answer arrives from our Lord.
Renewed strength is the first. Persecution strengthens the will of man. Allowing us to become stronger and more determined to correct mistakes and be strive for righteousness. Renewed strength solidifies the belief of the righteous path of God.
Mounting up with wings as Eagles defines a rise from the ashes, strong and beautiful. This scripture uses running and not fainting as a way of saying we will have more endurance to finish the race. God is always looking for ways to build up his children into powerful men and women. He uses every opportunity good or bad to do so.
Our patience produced in waiting on Him is no different. Strength, character and endurance come to help us finish the race set forth by our Lord and Savior. Remember to stay faithful knowing that the Spiritual answer from our Lord will naturally manifest soon.
