1 Corinthians 13:1-2,”Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”
Love is the greatest force and character trait any man or woman can exhibit. Without it, we are nothing more than hollow people. The very characteristics of love are forgiveness, perseverance, leadership, kindness and so much more. It’s the defining attribute of YAH above, for He is love (1 John 4:7-22). Love promotes change in others, and positivity throughout the world.
It was love that overcame YAH to send His son Jesus to die for the sins of man, (John 3:16). Love makes everyone who has it relevant. Just think about what the power of love can do. Love can create through the relationship between a husband and wife, (Genesis 2:24). Love can edify broken men and women into resilient individuals, (Romans 14:19). Love can build powerful nations and kingdoms (John 18:36). Love also creates positive change in the World around us, (Matthew 5: 14-16).
Without love we cannot know YAH, 1 John 4:16 reads, “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” Without God abiding in us we are empty, heartless and hollow. Without love we have temptation, hate and sorrow. Sins that cannot be covered (1 Peter 4:8).
I pray for YAH to fill every hollow heart with the joy of love, and the true knowledge of Him. Shalom…
