Revelations 16:1, “Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowl of the wrath of God on the Earth.”
During a pandemic many may question, if we are being judged by the Most High. Is this the end times that the book of Revelations was speaking of? While in the Old Testament YAH did judge people at times with plagues (Exodus Chapter’s 7-11) under the old covenant, it’s comforting to know that we now live under a new covenant in Christ Jesus.
This new covenant is that of love and mercy, under the grace of YAH in Jesus (Ephesians 4:7). Instead of acting, YAH is long suffering for all his children to repent and to know His son. This also is not part of the plagues transcribed in Revelations, as the arrival of the Anti-Christ is to precede the Revelations wrath of YAH.
So what is the cause of all this turmoil? This turmoil is due to living in a fallen sinful world. Where if something can go wrong, it will. Ephesians 6:10-12, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
During trying times we are to look to YAH for our salvation and lean on Him for strength. Romans 15:13, states “Now May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit,” Shalom.
