The Heretic Christian…

17 Mar

Galatians 1:8-9, But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.”

The Heretic Christian is one of the single most destructive forces in the Church today. Heresy is defined as, “any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs or customs, in particular the accepted beliefs of a church or religious organization.” Heretics pick and choose which parts of the Gospel they preach in order to cover their sins or the sins of others to win them to Christ but instead leads them to their destruction.

For example, the once saved, always saved doctrine is heretical as it conflicts with 2 Peter :20-22, “For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.”

Only those who repent are truly saved by the grace of YAH (Ephesians 2:8-9) for when we do sin we can be given mercy (Acts 3:19). The same can be said for homosexuality which is condemned in the Old (Lev 18:22) and New Testaments (Romans 1:27) some condone the sin, in order to save those entrapped by it.

Whereas heretics turn from the truth we as Disciples of Jesus Christ need to embrace it! John 8:32 reads,“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” That truth is standing on sound Biblical doctrine as the only way to be saved.

There is an abundance of false teachings that dilutes the scriptures found in the Holy Bible. We need to be aware of these lies and if needed correct in love and allow the truth to set us free from sin, Shalom…

Serve YAH, Not Man…

8 Mar

Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

The dire need and eagerness to teach all the Gospel of Jesus Christ, can conflict with our Faith. While we are called to profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Matthew 28:18-20) we can never hold back the full truth when needed in fear of offending some.

I’ve seen many Christian men and women in secular settings tip toe around subjects that the Bible clearly condemns, in order to meet the needs of the unsaved. They present a watered down Gospel that can never truly change an individual in order to be Christlike. They meet the need of man instead that of YAH.
The Gospel is supposed to stir those who hear it  into repentance (Matthew 4:17) to be more like Jesus and not nurture a worldly lifestyle. When asked by whomever, What does the Bible say about fornication, homosexuality, and any other topic we must hold firm to what the Bible has recorded and not say what people want to hear.

We must always choose YAH’s word and not our own to reach the world. Speak firmly but in love of what YAH has ordained and what Jesus affirmed at the Cross. Though we may not win everyone at that moment, seeds can be planted so that one day the revelation of Jesus Christ may manifest within them, Shalom.

A Great Reset or New World Order?

27 Jan

Revelations 13: 16-17, “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

The Great Reset Initiative is an economic recovery plan designed by the World Economic Forum in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to affect environment, social and government affairs worldwide.

The foundation, which is mostly funded by its 1,000 member companies – typically global enterprises with more than $5 billion in turnover – as well as public subsidies, views its own mission as “improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas”

Out of every tragedy comes the opportunity to good and evil. I’m always skeptical when decisions are made for the majority by the small elite minority. In no way am I saying that this is the biblical new world order eluded to in the book of Revelations, but it may a precursor to it. Mankind has always tried to attain something that only a relationship with Jesus Christ can, peace.

The scriptures state in 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” I pray as we move forward in these last days that we test the spirits and stay informed on every world event, looking forward to the true Prince of Peace to bring harmony and stability to this world, Shalom…

Spiritual Warfare, The Invisible War…

9 Jan

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”Spiritual warfare is the longest on-going war in the history of mankind. It’s rarely mentioned in today’s Christian circles but however, there does exist demonic spirits that wish to lure you away from

the Cross of Jesus Christ. As long as the sin nature is in man we all are under its influence to sin.

Sinning can manifest as adultery, drug use and even murder if we are not submitted fully to YAH. Demons or Evil Spirits still have access to this physical realm though not always visible but can influence someone’s thinking and decision making (Ephesians 6:11-12). During the time of Christ it is recorded in the New Testament over a dozen times of Jesus casting out demons and spirits, and says that we even will need to do so as well.

A fact is that the Lord never said that this practice would ever end after his resurrection, but gave us the the power to do so as well recorded in Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The enemy knows exactly which spirit to dispatch to divert our walk (Hebrews 12:1) with the Most High, which is why we need to put on the full armor of YAH (Ephesians 6:10-18). Always be submitted in mind, body and spirit to Christ and His finished work at the cross. Pray for others who are struggling with addiction whether drugs, lust, or depression as evil will manifest as whatever we lend our minds to. I pray we stay sober minded and continually in prayer for us and our loved ones against the devil, Shalom…

Singing YAH’s Glory…

8 Nov

Psalm 68:4, “Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him.

I believe that it’s with good reason that Psalms is the longest book of the Bible. Singing unto YAH is one of the highest forms of worship anyone can offer unto the Most High. Singing songs of His glory has been one of the most popular and oldest choices of worship even amongst the Angels (Job 38:7, Luke 38:7). Why should we sing? I believe this is a true expression of our own human Spirit. For example, the music artist whose songs we stream or listen to on the radio all glorify a particular feeling. Whether it be love, happiness or anger they open up to their listeners to convey a particular message giving them their true essence.

Even Jesus sang with the disciples during the last supper, Matthew 26:27-30 reads, “Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives

This release of spiritual energy by believers whether in listening to a recorded song and singing along, can be played throughout our day. Praising YAH in song needs to be a daily practice not just reserved for Sunday worship, Shalom…

Wrongfully Judging Others…

14 Apr

1 Corinthians 5:12-13, “ For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the  evil person.”

By judging others is one of the quickest ways for non-believers to despise the Gospel. I have seen many Christians try to “minister” the grace of Jesus  Christ by telling others first what they are doing wrong. In doing so, it is only natural for individuals to go on the defensive and respond in kind to the apparent hate.

We Disciples must always engage with love (1 Corinthians 16:14) first then the Gospel message of Jesus Christ crucified for our sins (1 Corinthians 1:23). If the Spirit chooses and the individual is saved, then we can begin with assisting those with the purification of ones ways. Remember, we are only to correct Believers as stated in 1 Corinthians 5:12-13.”

Winning those to Christ is done with his nature in mind which is love (1 John 4:7), and not by the judgement of others, for only God can judge the world. Allow the Holy Spirit to use you to spread love to the world, and allow your kindness to convict others to learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Shalom.

Is YAH Calling You, To Resolve An Injustice In The World?

2 Tim 1:9, “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purposes and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

A recent question was asked of me, why does God (YAH) allow so much suffering in the world today? My reply was instead why are Believers not fulfilling YAH’s purpose in this world? Many times we think that YAH is going to sweep down from Heaven and end poverty, disease and famine. In thinking like this we forget our own responsibility and purpose in doing His will.

As Believers in Christ, we have the right to act on the behalf of the Father. Luke 10:19 reads, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” With this we have the power to change the demonic atmosphere of this world. Everyone has a calling (2 Thessalonians 2:14) some are called to effect those in their lives only, and some are called to end some atrocities in the world.

Some examples of those who have been called to a larger stage are Moses, Noah, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul. They answered unto YAH to free the Israelites, preserve the new world for Christ and to take the Gospel to the nations. So how do you know the Lord is calling you? You only need to look at what hurts your Spirit. Is it seeing young children hurting from hunger? Is it helping those of physical abuse, is it standing against political agendas that harm mankind?

Now not all Disciples of Christ are called to meet these demands, but YAH will choose someone one day to end these travesties. Until then, I pray you keep your ears open to the Spirit of the Lord, because He may be calling you, Shalom…

Satan, The god Of This World…

4 Mar

1A7D052A-41CA-4F40-BE1F-8235478AAAEE

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)
“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

The term “the god of this world” relates to Satan’s great influence in this world. This influence was handed over to Him during the fall of man in Genesis Chp. 3 when Adam and Eve sinned against YAH. This influence impacts the World’s Religion, Economy, and Politics and many different interest in this world not submitted to the authority of YAH. Let’s take a look at each.

Religion is commonly associated with Christianity however, this is not true. Being a Christian is based on our personal relationship with YAH as recorded in Acts 17:27, (NKJV) “So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” Religion is a series of works that many employ to satisfy the Lord. The Scriptures state that this is wrong. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) reads, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

The Bible’s stance on politics and relating economy can be found in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NKJV), “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” All men and women not subjugated to the Lord, can sow seeds of discord for Satan if they are not in a relationship with God.

Though the “god of this world” may temp the unsaved, Ephesians 6:11 ( NKJV) reads, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” In Christ we have total protection from the authority handed over to Him. Though Satan has great influence in this world, YAH is still sovereign. Giving the “god of this world,” influence only over the non believing world. Hold onto the Word of God and pray for this world, and cling not to the “god of this world” but the one true God of this world and the world to come, Shalom…

Being called by Man vs being called by YAH…

John 15:16, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you andappointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.”

Today, it is very important we recognize those who have a true calling from YAH as opposed to those appointed by man. Where God calls forward those to serve His purpose, man also calls forth individuals to serve theirs. John 15:16 states first that God calls man and not the other way. This is based on the person’s obedience and willingness to be used as a conduit of God to operate in the physical realm of Earth. A true affirmationof God is led by a spiritual movement and not a natural one, orchestrated by natural ideology.

I liken a true calling of YAH to that of Moses in the book of Exodus. Who being empowered by YAH, granted him courage, power and authority that resulted in the divine act of freeing the Israelites and receiving the Ten Commandments, and in modern times Martin Luther King Jr., who fathered the Civil Rights Movement. Each were called, equipped and then empowered by the Holy Spirit to work the will of God. So how do we recognize a true movement of YAH? By discernment…

Using discernment grants us the ability to see the real motive behind people’s action. Taking time to dissect people’s actions gives light to if they are of God or Man. Some key indicators can be If it benefits man mainly usually for profit or agenda, not in line with the scriptures we should condemn it. Now more than ever we as Believers must allow the full glory of God’s Word flow through us, unhindered by Man’s deceit. Shalom…

What Sins Did The Cross Of Christ Erase?

1 Peter 2:24, “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
