2 Timothy 3:1-5, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”
Many who have fallen away from the Faith or have never received the Holy Spirit will say, “With so much bad in the world, how can anyone believe in God?” My reply is that the Bible has always predicted troubling times, since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Human nature since then has only been exposing its sin and the need for salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior. We must not forget that even though God (YAH) is supreme the time has not yet come for sin and death to be fully put away (Revelation 21:4).
In these times we should not lose our Faith but be strengthened by it, knowing that the Lord has his hand on us. 1 Peter 5:6 states, “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” We need to remain steadfast in this world being the example of Christ for hope of better times in the new Kingdom Age.
