Scripture Study- Isaiah 41:13, “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,

28 Apr

Isaiah 41:13, speaks to the enduring protection given by YAH for those washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The right hand signifies a place of honor in the Bible, signifying that the Most High protects and cares for each and everyone of His children. This is very encouraging as we will go through hard times on Earth, knowing that He is always watching over you providing guidance

In Christ we are given access to the Father, the ability to ask boldly for guidance and His protection. This protection covers grief, mental illness, health concerns and a plethora of other concerns while we are here in the flesh. The spiritual presence of YAH is here, and will always be here for those that reflect the image of Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:3, “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.” In times of hardship take solace in the right hand of YAH, for protection and strength in order to endure, Shalom.

Trust In YAH’s Process During Trials…

18 Apr

Mark 14:36, “And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

During times of uncertainty it is imperative to keep our Faith in the Most High, trusting Him in all matters. This is especially the case during trials and tribulations, that we pray for His glory to be shown. Jesus Christ in Mark 14:36 prayed to the Father that if by any means for the sins of the world to be taken away other than by death let it be, but in the end let YAH’s will be done. We too need to give our entire situation over to Him despite the outcome we may see happen.

This process is always for the edification of not only ourselves but for the Church. Ephesians 4:12, “for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” This edification provides encouragement to all, so when our faith is tested we can endure unto the end. Great examples of trusting in YAH are found in the Gospel’s, the book of Job, Acts and the Apostle Paul’s work (2 Corinthians 11:16-33).

Encouragement can always be found in the scriptures, knowing  that glory is always the end result for our Faith. Trust in YAH, masking His will your own. Enduring the process of trials and tribulations for the glory of all, Shalom…

Scripture Study- 1 Sam 15:22, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

11 Apr

To obey is better than sacrifice is the statement made here by YAH. In short, being obedient is always better than to sin and repent later. Saul in chapter 15 of 1 Samuel was given direct orders from the Most High to destroy not only King Agag but the entirety of the Amalek’s, instead choosing to spare the King and the best of the livestock for their own use (1 Sam 15:7-9).

This teaching moment is important for us today as well. For when the Lord gives us direct instructions, which can be to distance ourselves from a job, friends, or loved ones at times due to them hindering our spiritual growth. Not to leave the door cracked but to close it completely. We never want to only partly obey YAH as it is His will we are bringing to this world and not our own (Matthew 6:9).

Why is obedience such a big deal in the eyes of the Lord? This is due to Him wanting us to honor His authority, trusting Him with our lives and living totally by Faith in Jesus Christ. I pray we fully trust him today and not have to repent for disobedience tomorrow, Shalom…

Scripture Study- Galatians 13:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.“

28 Mar

The Apostle Paul is addressing in this passage,  his new life in Jesus Christ. A totally redeemed version of himself fully submitted to the will of YAH. The same refers to us, when we repent and accept Jesus into our lives, the death of Jesus is symbolic of our old life and being born again as a new person spiritually with His resurrection. We live now to function as YAH’s conduit here in the Earth, spreading love, truth and the Gospel of Christ.

The new life that we live now was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20), and the high wage could and only can be paid by the finish work of the Cross. We now cling to the Cross in Faith, knowing that Jesus Christ is our Lord and redeemer, Shalom…

Living For Yah In Today’s World…

24 Mar

Romans 12:1-2, I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

How do we stand for Christ today? This question is asked so often in the Christian community with the answer always being the same, to stand on sound Bible doctrine. Though it many seem more anti-Christ agendas are popping up more and more, this is due to the increase in how information can travel today.

Noah dealt with this same environment in Genesis 6:5, “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.” Our Lord  said these days would return in Matthew 24:27, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.“

Living for YAH today means to proclaim the truth in the face of lies an adversity. In 2 Timothy 4:2 Apostle Paul wrote, “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” In Mark 16:15 we are charged to proclaim the Gospel to the world regardless.

Though persecution will come at times, know that the Lord will provide a way for us. Hebrews 13:5-6, Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me,” Shalom…

Serve YAH, Not Man…

8 Mar

Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

The dire need and eagerness to teach all the Gospel of Jesus Christ, can conflict with our Faith. While we are called to profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Matthew 28:18-20) we can never hold back the full truth when needed in fear of offending some.

I’ve seen many Christian men and women in secular settings tip toe around subjects that the Bible clearly condemns, in order to meet the needs of the unsaved. They present a watered down Gospel that can never truly change an individual in order to be Christlike. They meet the need of man instead that of YAH.
The Gospel is supposed to stir those who hear it  into repentance (Matthew 4:17) to be more like Jesus and not nurture a worldly lifestyle. When asked by whomever, What does the Bible say about fornication, homosexuality, and any other topic we must hold firm to what the Bible has recorded and not say what people want to hear.

We must always choose YAH’s word and not our own to reach the world. Speak firmly but in love of what YAH has ordained and what Jesus affirmed at the Cross. Though we may not win everyone at that moment, seeds can be planted so that one day the revelation of Jesus Christ may manifest within them, Shalom.

Scripture Study- Ezekiel 37:1-6, Valley Of Dry Bones…

2 Feb

Ezekiel 37: 1-6, “The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

The valley of dry bones represents the lost Hebrew Israelites who were scattered throughout the world for their non-belief in YAH (Deuteronomy  28:64). The life breathed back into this lost nation represents the Holy Spirit, that in the end times will enter into the Hebrew Israelites upon their acceptance of Jesus Christ. Though punished for their disbelief, YAH will return them along with the Gentiles back into the promised land as we too are now heirs to throne by way of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 3:6, that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.” No matter the circumstances of our bad decisions, YAH will always look for us to reconcile and return back unto Him. A lost people returning back unto the true and living God, Shalom.

Scripture Study- Matthew 11:30, “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

18 Jan

The yoke the Lord Jesus Christ spoken here refers to discipleship. Discipleship in short is following Jesus described in Luke 9:23, “Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

This burden is made easy by way of YAH’s Holy Spirit, who helps us throughout our journey. Roman’s 8:26-27 states, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God,” Shalom.

Spiritual Warfare, The Invisible War…

9 Jan

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”Spiritual warfare is the longest on-going war in the history of mankind. It’s rarely mentioned in today’s Christian circles but however, there does exist demonic spirits that wish to lure you away from

the Cross of Jesus Christ. As long as the sin nature is in man we all are under its influence to sin.

Sinning can manifest as adultery, drug use and even murder if we are not submitted fully to YAH. Demons or Evil Spirits still have access to this physical realm though not always visible but can influence someone’s thinking and decision making (Ephesians 6:11-12). During the time of Christ it is recorded in the New Testament over a dozen times of Jesus casting out demons and spirits, and says that we even will need to do so as well.

A fact is that the Lord never said that this practice would ever end after his resurrection, but gave us the the power to do so as well recorded in Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The enemy knows exactly which spirit to dispatch to divert our walk (Hebrews 12:1) with the Most High, which is why we need to put on the full armor of YAH (Ephesians 6:10-18). Always be submitted in mind, body and spirit to Christ and His finished work at the cross. Pray for others who are struggling with addiction whether drugs, lust, or depression as evil will manifest as whatever we lend our minds to. I pray we stay sober minded and continually in prayer for us and our loved ones against the devil, Shalom…

Scripture Study- Romans 1:24-25, “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.“

7 Jan

Romans 1:24-25 is looked at as a punishment from YAH. This punishment, is giving those who deny Him the misfortune of living outside of His will. Outside of the presence of the Most High lies rebellion, lust, godliness and death. YAH giving the unrepentant over to their lust, proclaims they wanted a life apart from Him, by denying the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:24-25 in short represents the unsaved world and the sins within it, godless and full of destruction. YAH however offers all an escape from this in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 10:13, “

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
