Romans 16:17-18, “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.”
The world that we live in, is filled with those who are seeking more monetary gain, than spiritual growth in Jesus Christ. From politicians, to celebrities to the media everyone has an agenda to gain wealth at the expense of others. They promote wars, false politics, misinformation and discourse. The scriptures says to stay far away from them, and to seek the true nature of Jesus Christ. Jesus urged all believers to leave this world behind and to follow him, Mark 8:34.
Lies from unbelievers neither glorify the Gospel nor save those trapped in sin. The Bible urges all of us to be kind, gentle and to show empathy toward those who seek to destroy us or spread a false narrative about our Lord. I pray that everyone puts down their political party, social status, and bias beliefs and put on the full armor of YAH for the glory of Jesus Christ, Shalom…
