Living For Yah In Today’s World…

24 Mar

Romans 12:1-2, I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

How do we stand for Christ today? This question is asked so often in the Christian community with the answer always being the same, to stand on sound Bible doctrine. Though it many seem more anti-Christ agendas are popping up more and more, this is due to the increase in how information can travel today.

Noah dealt with this same environment in Genesis 6:5, “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.” Our Lord  said these days would return in Matthew 24:27, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.“

Living for YAH today means to proclaim the truth in the face of lies an adversity. In 2 Timothy 4:2 Apostle Paul wrote, “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” In Mark 16:15 we are charged to proclaim the Gospel to the world regardless.

Though persecution will come at times, know that the Lord will provide a way for us. Hebrews 13:5-6, Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me,” Shalom…

Scripture Study- Ezekiel 37:1-6, Valley Of Dry Bones…

2 Feb

Ezekiel 37: 1-6, “The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

The valley of dry bones represents the lost Hebrew Israelites who were scattered throughout the world for their non-belief in YAH (Deuteronomy  28:64). The life breathed back into this lost nation represents the Holy Spirit, that in the end times will enter into the Hebrew Israelites upon their acceptance of Jesus Christ. Though punished for their disbelief, YAH will return them along with the Gentiles back into the promised land as we too are now heirs to throne by way of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 3:6, that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.” No matter the circumstances of our bad decisions, YAH will always look for us to reconcile and return back unto Him. A lost people returning back unto the true and living God, Shalom.

Scripture Study- Matthew 11:30, “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

18 Jan

The yoke the Lord Jesus Christ spoken here refers to discipleship. Discipleship in short is following Jesus described in Luke 9:23, “Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

This burden is made easy by way of YAH’s Holy Spirit, who helps us throughout our journey. Roman’s 8:26-27 states, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God,” Shalom.

Scripture Study- Romans 1:24-25, “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.“

Romans 1:24-25 is looked at as a punishment from YAH. This punishment, is giving those who deny Him the misfortune of living outside of His will. Outside of the presence of the Most High lies rebellion, lust, godliness and death. YAH giving the unrepentant over to their lust, proclaims they wanted a life apart from Him, by denying the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:24-25 in short represents the unsaved world and the sins within it, godless and full of destruction. YAH however offers all an escape from this in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 10:13, “

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

Never Lose Your Value…

26 Dec

1 Corinthians 6:20, “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

As we move more and more into a godless society where we reference more secular means of enlightenment, we need to stand firmly on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Our value in the eyes of the Most High is that of knowing exactly what Christ has done for the world. This is dying for the sins of every man and woman and thus granting us the grace and mercy to walk with YAH. While the world recognizes a higher power, it is not always YAH or Jesus that they are referencing when this is said. Being born again believers we need to always insert Jesus Christ in the matter in being the sin atonement for our sins, his sacrifice grants the Holy Spirit the liberty to work in our lives. John 14: 26, But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Reflecting the finished work of Jesus in our lives gives every man and woman value in the eyes of YAH, by knowing that He can work through us to bring His kingdom back to this sinful world (Matthew 6:10) in being a living sacrifice and testimony unto Him. To remain of value is to remain fully embedded in the Cross of Jesus Christ. While other beliefs can offer temporary happiness, Jesus offers eternal happiness and life as stated in John 3:16. I pray that the body of Christ remains bold in teaching all of what Jesus has done for us, and remain valuable witnesses to the finished work of Jesus Christ, Shalom…

YAH’s Standard Of Forgiveness…

12 Dec

Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The Lord is looking for those who are truly willing to do His will and to be more like him. A parent of the Most High’s divine nature  is having the willingness to forgive those who have a pure heart, and want to be forgiven for their transgressions. This is such a core element of the Gospel message that refusing to do so can jeopardize our own salvation. So why is forgiveness so important, because this is a true reflection of what the Gospel is.

No matter the sin, we are forgiven! No matter what we have done, we can be forgiven, no matter the heartache we have caused or received, we have to forgive like our Heavenly Father. I know our human nature can cause a delay in forgiveness especially for major transgressions but we cannot allow our hate to override the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In such cases we need only to ask for the grace of the Holy Spirit to renew a clean spirit (Psalm 51:10-12) within us, in order to do His will.

I always remember that the Cross of Christ covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). So if the Most High can forgive those who truly with a pure heart ask for forgiveness, then we must as well submit to His divine will, Shalom.

Corinthians 15:14, “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.”

6 Dec

“The Bible states that Jesus Christ is the atonement for our sins, the perfect sacrifice unto YAH (1 John 2:2). The Apostle Paul is simply saying if Christ was not risen His sacrifice was in vain and deemed unworthy in the eyes of YAH, thus making the Gospel null.
However we know that the sacrifice Christ made  was good in the eyes of YAH, as recorded in Matthew 28:5-6, “

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Without the Lord’s resurrection the Gospel is no different than other religions, placing salvation on good works but no true escape from sin and death. I praise the Most High for Jesus Christ and raising him from the grave for the remission of sin and death, Shalom…

“Now You Will See What I Can Do.”

17 Nov

It’s such a blessing to have the Lord Jesus Christ interceding on our behalf (Romans 6:23), helping us throughout this sinful world. The book of Exodus is an awesome testimony of what God can do when we turn our situation over and trust in Him fully. The impossible is achieved, from freeing us from the bondage of sin as recorded in 1 John 2:1, “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

YAH wants to take away our sins and hardships of this world, John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” What can the Lord do for us in Christ? Ephesians 3:20 states, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The answer is above and beyond our asking according to His will.

What is this power that works in us? The power of the Holy Spirit  who will open our eyes so we can all that He can do, Shalom

The Teaching Moment Of Lucifer’s Fall…

1 Nov

Isaiah 14: 12-15 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

The fall of Satan from Heaven is a great teaching moment for all of YAH’s followers. Whereas in all of Satan’s prestige amongst the other hosts of heaven still chose pride as His god. We as Believers are given this choice everyday between our own will or that of YAH. Where we may at times have a lapse in our judgment and decide on what we want, the blood of Jesus is still there to keep us from final condemnation. The ideal of worldly goods and pleasures are very appealing to the flesh and is a constant enemy of our spirit (Galatians 5:17), however the blood of Jesus can always keep us from falling away (Romans 5:9)

Satan has always wanted mankind out of the way, so that He could have once again all the glory that was originally bestowed upon Him. Every act that He has taken to destroy mankind has and will always fail due to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and power given to us by the Holy Spirit. I pray that we always choose YAH and not the pride of our own glory to keep Christ at the forefront of all, Shalom…

Scripture Study: Luke 9:60, “Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”

14 Oct

When Jesus said, “Let the dead, bury their own dead,” it was not meant as disrespect but merely as the cost of following Hi m. YAH is after those who are looking to do His will throughout the Earth, without hesitation to how we may will feel. This means at times making hard decisions in denying ourselves for Him (Matthew 16:24-26) but always looking to put His will at the forefront first.

YAH will always take care of our personal needs (Matthew 6:25-34) as long as our Faith is in Him. Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand,’ Shalom…
