Avoiding Dissension In The Church…

22 Apr

Titus 3:9, “But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.”

The Gospel message, is one of the easiest theologies to place your Faith in. The Scripture states in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” A easy enough belief, however at times we come to have disputes over other aspects of the Bible.

Some of these petty differences are, the real day of the Sabbath, are we all still to be baptized by water,  or the exact time month of Jesus’s birth. While we can debate these topics, we should never allow them to divide us in our core belief in Jesus Christ to be saved. The aforementioned topics are secondary to the Gospel, and do not equate acceptance by YAH (God) for us to be saved.

I pray for friendly discussions on these topics, but we need to always return back to Jesus and Him crucified, Shalom…

Wrongfully Judging Others…

14 Apr

1 Corinthians 5:12-13, “ For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the  evil person.”

By judging others is one of the quickest ways for non-believers to despise the Gospel. I have seen many Christians try to “minister” the grace of Jesus  Christ by telling others first what they are doing wrong. In doing so, it is only natural for individuals to go on the defensive and respond in kind to the apparent hate.

We Disciples must always engage with love (1 Corinthians 16:14) first then the Gospel message of Jesus Christ crucified for our sins (1 Corinthians 1:23). If the Spirit chooses and the individual is saved, then we can begin with assisting those with the purification of ones ways. Remember, we are only to correct Believers as stated in 1 Corinthians 5:12-13.”

Winning those to Christ is done with his nature in mind which is love (1 John 4:7), and not by the judgement of others, for only God can judge the world. Allow the Holy Spirit to use you to spread love to the world, and allow your kindness to convict others to learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Shalom.

Worldly Distractions; One Of Satan’s Greatest Weapons…

5 Feb

Galatians 5:16-17, “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.”

One of the most important statements of the Holy Bible, is to stay focused on the Spirit of YAH. This is during times of joy and at times of despair. Times of despair create distractions from the Spirit in which Satan uses to set snares for believers. 1 Peter 5:8 reads, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

The world can be a very distracting at times but during times of financial hardships, ill health and others hold them up against the Word of YAH, and know that He will make a way to escape..

In times of financial hardship reference refer to Proverbs 13:18, “Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, but he who regards a rebuke will be honored. In times of ill health reference Proverbs 4:20-22, “My son, give attention to my words;Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.”

There is a scripture for every need. Study the Bible and look for those which will comfort your Spirit. Let the Word of YAH meet your worldly concern and leave you in His Spirit away from the serpent, Shalom…

Better Days Are Coming…

25 Jan

Psalms 34:4, “I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”

In dire times such as the one we are currently in, know that YAH is still in control. Through  pandemics, civil unrest and misplaced faith in man, our faith in Jesus Christ must always remain. In seeking God (YAH) through Christ Jesus shows Him our good Faith and trust in His promise for all mankind.

Hebrews 11:6 reads, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Dire times come to always test our Faith. The question is who are you turning to? Man who is full of error or YAH The Living God?

I know and believe the Lord always has a plan for everything, and placing our Faith in Him is all that He needs to truly bless our lives. I pray as we push forward to continue to believe in Him and our Faith remains strong, Shalom..

Is an Pandemic a Judgement from YAH? No…

9 Aug

Revelations 16:1, “Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowl of the wrath of God on the Earth.”

During a pandemic many may question, if we are being judged by the Most High. Is this the end times that the book of Revelations was speaking of? While in the Old Testament YAH did judge people at times with plagues (Exodus Chapter’s 7-11) under the old covenant, it’s comforting to know that we now live under a new covenant in Christ Jesus.

This new covenant is that of love and mercy, under the grace of YAH in Jesus (Ephesians 4:7). Instead of acting, YAH is long suffering for all his children to repent and to know His son. This also is not part of the plagues transcribed in Revelations, as the arrival of the Anti-Christ is to precede the Revelations wrath of YAH.

So what is the cause of all this turmoil? This turmoil is due to living in a fallen sinful world. Where if something can go wrong, it will. Ephesians 6:10-12, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

During trying times we are to look to YAH for our salvation and lean on Him for strength. Romans 15:13, states “Now May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit,” Shalom.

Seances’s; Communicating with Devils…

23 Jul

Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, “For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, For the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun.”

The unexpected death of a loved one can create a void, and a need for closure. While many may come to terms with their loved ones passing, others at time turn to Mediums or Psychics to speak to their beloved ones, one last time. Though I do believe the physical world can make contact with the spiritual, the end result is not of YAH. While Mediums/Psychics or Ouija Boards may make contact with the spirit realm, Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 states the dead are unable to remember their previous life and therefore unable to communicate back.

The scripture states that the dead have no previous memory of their past life, due to the Spirit returning back to the Father from where it has come . Ecclesiastes 12:7 reads, “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the Spirit will return to YAH who gave it.” No communication between the living and the dead is possible after that person has passed away as stated in the Bible. So who or what are the Psychics making contact with? Leviticus 19:31 gives us a indication. “Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am your Lord your God.”

Familiar spirits are demons who have knowledge of the living world, who once summoned can begin to inhabit the living. These spirits exists wondering the spiritual realm seeking for a way to return back to the land of the living in order to carry out corruption. Matthew 12:43-45 reads “When a unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, “I will return to my house from which I came.” And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse the the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.“

These spiritual beings are looking for a way to return to the land of the living for corruption. Through the use of Psychics or Mediums this return is possible. Many Familiar Spirits disguise themselves as our loved ones, in order to enter back into the land of the living. This may seem to many that they are receiving closure, however the Bible strictly forbids this. Our loved ones have returned once again back unto the Father, the best place any living or deceased human being can be. If anyone has the need to consult with a Psychic, please reflect on Ecclesiastes 9:5-6. And know the joy and love your loved one is in, the Presence of YAH (Psalm 16:11) Shalom.

I AM, The Meaning behind YAH’s name.

15 May

Exodus 3:14 New King James Version (NKJV) “And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.”

There is a great importance in using the name of YAH in our daily prayer’s and meditation. The meaning for this is that YAH which is translated from “I AM” recognizes YAH as the absolute of all existence. This recognition describes YAH as all reality, and the master of our brief time in it. This reality encompasses our thoughts, finances, healing and effectiveness in operating by way of His Holy Spirit. In all, surrendering unto YAH as the sole proprietor of all total existence; creates an environment for us to be made master’s of every worldly situation.

Our belief in YAH and the grace given to us in Christ Jesus taps into His omnipotence. YAH is never ending meaning He was here before our situation, and will be here after. He is independent, needing nothing to do a great work. He is also the creator of all, YAH is absolute truth and most importantly He is love. In YAH, the power of all things good and the material and spiritual world rest at His feet. Will you tap into? I pray that you will, Shalom…

Demonic Spirits, The Thorn In Man’s Flesh

17 Apr

2 Corinthians 12:7, “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.”

For many years I always associated the “thorn in the flesh” of Paul as some type of physical ailment. A type of cross for Him to bear to remain humble and dependent upon YAH. However upon my studies the term “messenger” actually translates to the Greek meaning Aggelos which means angel of satan. This demonic spirit manifested in hardships in his journey’s spreading the Word of YAH to the world.

Recorded in 2 Cor 11:23-27, “Are they ministers of Christ?-I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.”

Though troubling times of imprisonment and physical abuse plagued the Apostle, YAH preserved Him in all to fulfill His calling here on Earth. Many times we as Believer’s will experience the same from friends, family or society when sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though we have been called unto His glory, never get beside the fact that we all still fall short of His divine glory and pray that we stay humble and strong enough to endure until the end. Shalom…

Where Do Demons Come From?

25 Mar

Revelations 12:9, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

The Holy Bible does not specifically state where demons originated from. However, the scriptures do record two possible instances for their origin. The first comes in Revelations 12:9. The fallen angels hypothesis suggest, those Angels that rebelled with Satan become demons or seducing spirits like Lucifer himself. Brought down to deceive the world before Adam (the Pre-Adamite Race). This is very possible due to the fact the Serpent in the Garden of Eden was coerced by Satan into tempting Adam and Eve into sin, before the world was re-created by YAH in Gen 1:3.

The next possible explanation is the Nephilim theory. Those who were the offspring of man and angelic procreation in Genesis 6:4, “There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.” Though the majority of these beings were destroyed during Noah’s flood. The disembodied spirits, which are not of man or angel were never sent to Sheol. As they are not part of YAH’s original creation and not redeemable. Therefore they roam about, until the final judgement.

Upon studying the scriptures I believe that demons originated from both sources, Fallen Angels and the Nephilim. Both are demonic forces working with Satan to bring about the destruction of mankind. Though their origins may seem a little convoluted, it is important to know that they are here, affecting our world. Know that in Christ you have the power over them!

James 4:7-8, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded,” Shalom…

There’s Power In Saying YAH’s Name, Not His Title…

17 Mar

With being in a personal relationship with YAH, we as Believers should always utilize the true name of God. Over time and with different translations of the Bible the holy name of YAH, was edited to reflect the language and culture therein. With this, God’s true name YAH (Psalm 68:4) has somewhat been lost to us. The scripture however request that we call upon his name when in prayer or in our time of need.

Exodus 3:15 reads, “Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.” Lord is the English substitute for YAH. Even though it is meant in a high regard, this title is not the same as YAH.

Referring to YAH by His title, is the same as calling a male friend man or a female as simply woman. It’s not personal and carries the same meaning for every other human being. Imagine when your boss or others in high regard may have said “No, call me by my first name.” The relationship between the two means so much. The same is for YAH, who has called us into a personal relationship (Acts 17:27).

The Holy Bible states in Psalm 145:18, “The Lord (YAH) is near to all who call upon Him,To all who call upon Him in truth.” The name YAH in our belief in Jesus Christ invokes the Holy Spirit to minister on our behalf. Guiding us into truth, edification, and strengthening our Faith. We have a Father that has given us a specific name to call him by, and when spoken to He will listen.

Not only is YAH the true name of the Most High, but also specifies that the God we pray to is that of the Hebrew Israelites. I ask we all share in the joy that YAH has given us such power and joy, of calling on His personal name in time of need and also in joy! Shalom…
