Wells Without Water…

25 Jul

2 Peter 2:17, “These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.”

2 Peter 2:17 speaks of the moral depravity (moral corruption) of the world that we live in. While the good still outweighs the bad modern society is quickly deteriorating. From family values to education to the eradication of Jesus from our culture, we are in a steady decline of morality. People today turn to wells without water when in need for restoration, correction and most importantly salvation.

While instead of dealing with spiritual health, many rather go to the gym, a life coach or unsaved friends and family. Our focus is on making money, wanting to promote ourselves in this natural world more than in YAH. While the well may look good to drink from, ultimately they will find that they are spiritually empty.

Matthew 4:4 reads, “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Jesus is the only well made for man and woman to drink from. No politician, influencer, or anyone can give you what YAH has in store for you by way of Jesus Christ. Are you ready to drink from the well of everlasting life? I am, Shalom…

Is Christianity More Grace or Sinless Perfection?

11 Jul

Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

At times many believers will blur the lines between grace and sinless perfection. While we all are called to be sinless in the eyes of YAH, their is only one individual who can make that claim, in Jesus. Ephesians 4:22 reads, “to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

Sinless perfection is impossible in the flesh (Romans 7:14-24). When we accept the Cross of Christ we are made whole spiritually in him. Grace is the gift of the Most High for when we do sin we can still be reconciled back until Him. 2 Corinthians 12:9 states, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me,” Shalom…

Always Giving Thanks to YAH…

27 Jun

Ephesians 5:20, “always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.“

It’s good to every now and again to reflect on all the goodness of YAH. Giving thanks to the Most High for saving me, Psalm 18:1-50.

For never giving up on me, Isaiah 41 verse 10.The unconditional love. Romans 8:39,

“nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.“

For finding me John 6:44, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.“

Providing for me, Philippians 4:19.

For healing me 1 Peter 2:24, “‘He Himself bore our sins’ in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by His wounds you have been healed.’”

Always making away Isaiah 43 verse 19, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.“

Lastly for Jesus Christ! John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” Shalom

We All Come Back from Trials and Tribulations.

13 Jun

1 Peter 5:10, “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

One thing for certain the Bible tells us is that after every trial, we will make it back unto YAH’s glory. For every time we fall short the scripture says we will get back up, even better than before. This is the awesomeness of the Cross of Jesus Christ. The Lord died so grace and the power of the Holy Spirit can abound.

No one will ever fall so far away from His presence, to where as if we repent He will not forgive us. Jeremiah 29 13-14 reads, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

We all comeback from the trials of this world and even death, John 11:25 states “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” No matter how low we may during our time here on Earth know that we have a Heavenly Father cheering for us to make it through. Giving us all the tools we need in the finished work of His son Jesus Christ, Shalom…

Precept Upon Precept of His Word…

11 Jun

Isaiah 28:9-11, “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.”

To learn from the Most High means to be a scholar of His word. The Holy Bible is more than just stories and scriptures to be read but moreso studied for in depth meaning. Hebrews 4:12 defines the Lord’s word as living, as in sentient. Able to perceive your desires and meet your needs. In every sentence is a ministering spirit that will speak to you providing revelation, precept upon precept.

Healing scriptures (Isaiah 53:5) minister to you, once meditated on. Scriptures on anxiety (Proverbs 12:25) minister once read and meditated on. I pray that the sentient life of the holy scriptures impact your life and that we study line upon line and allow His will to be revealed to us, Shalom…

Jesus Wept…

28 May

John 11:35, “Jesus wept.”

Jesus weeping for the recently deceased Lazarus is a testimony to His humanity.  Not only sympathizing with his loved ones, but for the destruction sin has brought into this world. Death was never apart of YAH’s plan for this world and mankind. From the very beginning the Most High was a creator and life bringer. It wasn’t until sin entered in through original sin did this world and us begin to decay spiritually and physically.

Through Jesus sin has been done away with. While we still will age, become sick and pass away we have eternal life spiritually with Him. John 11:25, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” Jesus revealed that our death is like Lazarus mentioned in John 11:4, “When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.“

If we or our loved ones should pass away before the second coming it is not unto eternal death, as we will be with Him. Jesus empathizes with for us in our fallen state, giving us the grace to endure until the end when death is no more. 1 Corinthians 15:26-27, “The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.” Shalom.

Beware The Leaven…

16 May

Matthew 16:6, “Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

The leaven Jesus spoke of is of false teachers, who add to the Gospel message. While the finished  work at the cross is enough to be justified in the eyes of YAH, many still try to add tithing, praying to saints or the old law as well. Romans 10:9 clearly states,”If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

While this scripture pertains to the Gospel message, it can also be applied to our daily lives in those try to hault our spiritual growth through lies and deceit. Who wish to lead us down the road to self destruction.Stay in the Word of YAH and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into spiritual and earthly truth. Remember John 10:10, “

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly,” Shalom…

The Need For Spiritual Water…

18 Apr

John 7:37-38, On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

The human body can function no more than only 3 days without water. It is not a coincidence that Jesus compared the need for water to the need for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the helper, who will teach us all things pertaining to Jesus Christ (John 14:26).

The need to study and be around other believers especially in these trying times will strengthen our faith, improving our spiritual endurance. Drinking of the living water of Christ will ensure we are operating in the spirit 2 Peter1:5-8,

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.“

In order for fruit to grow, plants require water and that water provides the necessary energy for it to grow. Is your spirit thirsting for water? We all need to stay in His word so that we do not become barren, Shalom.

Can You Be A Christian And Not Believe  In The Crucifixion/Resurrection?

8 Apr

1 Corinthians 15:14, “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.“

I recently heard that if you remove the crucifixion and deity from Jesus, his story is more beneficial to win non believers to the faith. While the teachings of Christ are great to adhere to regards in how to treat every man and woman, unfortunately that alone will not save you.

While Jesus Christ was sent into this Earth to show everyone how to live for YAH, His main reason was to be the offering for our sins. Ephesians 5:2, “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.“

The actions of Jesus speaks more for humanity. In removing the separation created by sin through Adam and Eve’s original sin. Romans 6:23 reads, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ The Lord bore that sin in His body on the cross. 1 Peter 2:24, “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.“

Living right is never a substitute for the Cross of Christ. As the cross is the only way to be justified in the eyes of YAH. The cross is cure for humanities infirmities with living justified is a byproduct of it, Shalom.

Casting Your Worries Onto Him…

29 Mar

Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

With so much going on in the world today, always trust the Most High with all your cares. While many struggle with raising families, mortgages and health concerns it’s natural to worry. Though it is common to worry about the unknown, it’s important to counter it with the Word of God.
The Holy Bible answers the concern of worrying with prayer. By letting our troubles be known to YAH, who sent His son Jesus to pay the price for our sins. YAH did not save us only to let us lead a life of worry about the things of tomorrow.

1 Peter 5:7 states, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.“Jesus is the answer! Coming to YAH in prayer and with strong faith, will strengthen your spirit and endurance to win the race of every obstacle in your life. Why? It is one of the sole purposes He came into this world! Matthew 11:28-30,

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light,” Shalom…
