You’re More Than Enough In Christ…

5 Jan

1 Kings 19:4-8, “But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!”

Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

At times me may feel that we are not fulfilling our purpose in Christ. Please know that the Holy Spirit is guiding our journey thought the highs and the lows, Romans 8:14. When tough times arise look to YAH in prayer and know that help is coming to you, the same as it did Elijah in 1 Kings 19:4-8, Shalom.

The Day Of The Lord…

5 Dec

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4, “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.”

The day of the Lord is described in the Bible as the end of this current Earth Age. When the wrath of YAH is revealed to the world. The beginning of these events will the rapture of the Church, the rise Anti-Christ and the release of demonic spirits upon the world (Revelation 16:14). During this time YAH’s judgment will be poured out as a final call for repentance on Israel and all others who have hardened their hearts by rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. YAH’s sin atonement for mankind (Romans 5:10).

Though this will be a very troubling time, the end of this current Earth Age will bring in Christ’s Kingdom Age. Revelations 20:4 states, “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Are you ready for the Day of the Lord? I pray all will endure and repent of our sins and accept the Cross of Christ, Shalom…

Lawlessness…

28 Nov

2 Thessalonians 2:5-8, “Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.”

The dictionary defines lawlessness as a state of disorder due to a disregard for the law. This disorder is Satan’s attempt to lead the world away from any regard for authority whether it’s law or religion. This is so to establish a perfect storm for the Antichrist to seize control of this world system. Lawlessness destroys a law, marriages, beliefs in Faith and the natural order of how the world functions in an attempt to replace it with a better alternative.

The modern decay of today’s society in regards to marriage, government, authority and Faith is only fulfilling Biblical prophecy. The Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8 stated once these things have been revealed then the Antichrist will be revealed, as a false messiah that will “fix” this broken system  but to no avail. The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer to fix this broken world, through repentance of sin, and acceptance of His sacrifice at the cross. As the world continues in disarray I pray that we all turn to the Cross of Christ as the true answer to lawlessness, Shalom…

Why did YAH need to become a man, to save man?

30 Oct

A question that may arise is why did an all powerful God need to become a man in order save mankind? I believe the answer to this question can be given in three parts, with one being that mankind has dominion on the Earth. YAH created and then gave us the power over all things in Genesis 1:26. If the Most High was to come to this physical realm, that power would be His by default as YAH. In short, He is a keeper of His word operating under the divine law that He has created with man in control even when in need of a Savior.

The second part to this answer is so that He could become sin for us. 2 Corinthians states, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” This becoming sin for us takes the sin nature spiritually away from us and to the grave when Jesus Christ was sacrificed. By placing our Faith in the finished work of Christ we are thus dead to sin based on His sacrifice and resurrection. This also shows that in every struggle YAH knows what we are dealing with having been made man. We need only to pray to Him and ask for strength and endurance in our trials and know that we will make it through by way of the Cross of Christ.

Lastly the third part is so that He could physically die for our sins. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” YAH is no liar, when sin entered the world death surely did follow. In order to save mankind, God (YAH) becoming man so that He could physically die for our sins is the best example of love given to us. So, why did He need to become a man? Number one because of our dominion in the Earth, to experience sin and then lastly to take that sin from us, Shalom…

Putting On The Fullness of Christ…

4 Oct

Romans 13:11-12, “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

”Romans 13:11-12 speaks to the expedient need to accept the Lord Jesus Christ, especially now in this modern day. With the rising cost of living, crime, and lost hope in elected officials Jesus is our answer. As this Earth Age will soon usher in the coming Christ Kingdom Age, we need to put on all his fullness.

This fullness, is to be led by the Holy Spirit of YAH (2 Peter 1:3-8). By placing our Faith in Christ, we are given his protection from this sinful world. Not only protection but also discernment and knowledge as to what the enemy is planning. The Spirit will never leave us (John 16:13). During these times turn to the Most High for guidance and protection. Knowing that the fullness of YAH will see us through.

Proverbs 18:20, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe,” Shalom .

Scripture Study- 2 Timothy 1:7,”For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

1 Aug

2 Timothy 1:7, is a scripture of encouragement to all Christian’s. At times when we may doubt ourselves we must trust in YAH and not fear. Fear brings doubt and with doubt disbelief which is at odds with our Faith. Instead of fear replace this with the power of Faith, turning over this fear to YAH and move boldly knowing that He will always make a way (Proverbs 3:5-6). As long as we operate according to His will and move in love, our steps will be guided by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14).

Knowing that the Cross of Christ has given us every blessing from the Most High, Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Lastly a sound mind is needed on every journey especially during trials. Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Scripture Study: The Significance of Christ First and Last Words to Man…

14 Jul

Luke 2:49, “And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

John 19:30, “So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

The recorded first words of Jesus Christ begin with Him saying He is about his Father’s business and last are “It is finished.” Jesus came to Earth on a very significant mission and that was to preach the good news of the Gospels and to be our sin atonement (Luke 24:46-48), not to condemn mankind but to save it. The awesome significance between these two scriptures is that the redemption process in Him is complete. The remission of sins is finished (Matthew 26:28), our forgiveness is finished (1 John 1:9), and we are in good standing with YAH (Romans 3:24). In Jesus’ final act of love, his sacrifice redeemed everyone who believes in the power of the cross.

There is no  need to add to what Christ has done or take away from the Gospels, just believe in Jesus Christ finished work for redemption. “It is finished,’ Shalom…

Repentance and Forgiveness; The Only Response to Sin…

29 Jun

Luke 24:46-48, “Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things.

Repentance is defined as sincere regret or remorse for an action. While we all may sin and fall short of YAH’s will, the Bible gives us a clear answer on how we should respond, and that is to repent and forgive. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ has given us a way to escape sins entrapment. The blood of Christ can wash away all sin if we truly repent and turn away from it (1 John 1:7-9).

In regards to when friends or family members’ sins affect us and cause heartache, the Bible says to forgive. Luke 17:3, “Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.” The scriptures state to forgive them every time but this is under the belief that they are truly repentant and do not keep repeating this same behavior.

While we are in the flesh, sin will always be a part of our human nature (Romans 7:14). Through accepting Jesus Christ and striving to reflect His image, we have an escape from living a sinful life. The Holy Spirit will help us with every struggle (John 14:26). For times that we fall short we repent and when those who sin against us we forgive just as He has forgiven us, Shalom.

The Image of The Beast and A.I.

19 Jun

Revelation 13:15, “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause to be killed as many as would not worship the image of the beast.“

For many years I’ve wondered what Revelation 13:15 was describing by the image of the beast and just how the False Prophet is able to give life unto it. As we move closer and closer to the second coming of Jesus Christ, artificial intelligence may be an answer to this great deception. AI has the potential to change the world as it relates to the workforce, news information and entertainment. While in the right hands this technology can greatly enhance our way of life, while on the other hand can be used to scam and manipulate the masses into believing a lie.

It is very important that we stay vigilant, not only reading our Bibles daily but to what news and technology is being revealed. While we can enjoy our lives, be aware of the end times events being revealed before us so that we know exactly how to react in times of tribulations. Romans 13:11-13, ‘And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy,” shalom…

Confronting Sins Desire…

13 Jun

Genesis 4:7, “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

Scripture states that like Satan sin has the same desire for our destruction. What is unique about the sin nature, it will manifest in individuals differently from person to person. Where one may have a drug or alcohol addiction, another will have a sex or gambling one. However it may manifest Satan uses this sin to lead us astray from the Most High.

As Believers, we continually must examine ourselves to see what sin is desiring from us. Whether it’s anger, lust of the flesh or addiction we must continue to pray and submit to the Holy Spirit of YAH through Christ Jesus. Luke 21:31-32 states, “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Only by the Blood of Jesus can we resist sin and the Devil and escape destruction. I pray for us all to stay submissive to Jesus, in every aspect of our life. To resist sin and to use that temptation to strengthen our faith, Shalom…
