Isaiah 30:1, “Woe to the rebellious children,” says the Lord, “Who take counsel, but not of Me,And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin.”
The current assessment of today’s society, is that everyone is seeking a form of godliness without Jesus Christ. While the Gospel message has been heard, many still look for a alternative salvation. This is due to the Gospel message not linning up with their current lifestyle or the current social climate. This turning away, leads to them rebelling away from YAH’s son Jesus Christ.
These alternate methods for salvation can be new world religions, spirituality or secular morality. While these alternatives can satisfy for the moment they ultimately will fail in the end. John 14:6 states, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” This is due to His bloodshed and perfect sacrifice for our sins.
No other religion, new world belief can make this claim other than Christianity! While the scriptures do not align with the worlds system, the Cross is the only way to overcome its hardships. John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Though the Gospel message wars against our flesh. Trust the Holy Spirit to guide us into understanding for the salvation of our souls, and do not rebel against the love of Christ, Shalom…
