There is no separation, from the love of God…

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Apostle Paul in his address to the Roman Church, expressed the unconditional love of God through Jesus Christ. This love stems from Christ perfect sacrifice on the Cross. Through our belief in Jesus, God sees us as his Children (John 1:12-13), operating in an imperfect world.

The love of God is as deep as the ocean. This love transcends our own sinful nature, and worldly spiritual wickedness that will try to hinder our walk with Him. The Cross of Christ has overcome the world, John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Jesus is letting Believers know, that even though He is not present in the flesh He will be with them. In times of depression, sorrow, and hardships He is there. The Cross has overcome all and the only thing left is to believe and have Faith in The Word of God, Romans 3:28.

The principalities spoken of in Romans 3:38-39 represents Satan and His Fallen Angels. The “god,” of this world is rendered powerless in the presence of Cross of Christ knowing that He is s already been defeated by it, Revelations 17:14.

I pray in our dark hours that we know that God is still sovereign, giving those who know Jesus the power to overcome. Using his love (The Cross), as our crutch.
