“No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
John 10:28 speaks to the power and authority given to Christ by the will of YAH. This same power and authority is given to us as followers as well, that when we go through hardships that obedience is key to overcome. Jesus was ordained to be the blood sacrifice for the sins of the world (Ephesians 1:3-5) and that by being chosen, YAH protected His son even in death to receive glory.
The same can be said for Us as Disciples, we all have a divine calling to align ourselves to YAH to bring about His divine will. No matter the obstacles or circumstances even unto death, YAH is always in control of the situation which will bring about His glory and our glorification in Him. The power to “Take it again,” proves His sacrifice for our sins was good in the eyes of the Almighty by resurrecting Jesus back to life.
This very important scripture attests to the need to believe and received Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior as stated in John 14:6, Jesus said to Him “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me,” Shalom.
