Consolation In The Cross Of Jesus Christ….

23 Sep

2 Corinthians 1:5, “For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.”

The suffering of Jesus Christ abounds in every Believer in the form of grace and mercy. This special gift given to us by Christ sacrifice, we carry with us each and everyday. A living testament of what YAH wants for all His children, operating by way of His Holy Spirit! YAH will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). This desire will manifest in the form of hope, wisdom, health, purpose and prosperity according to His divine will.

It is a honor to share this consolation with others who do not know Jesus Christ as well. This perfect peace of being spirit filled with love grace and mercy, operating at a divine level bringing His kingdom here to Earth. I pray we all continue to provide this comfort to the unsaved world offering hope instead of despair, Shalom…

Scripture Study: 1 John 3:9, “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.“

1 John 3:9 does not speak of believers being sinless, but of our sins now being covered by the blood of Jesus. Many think that once we are born again all desire to do wrong goes away which is not true. This scripture speaks to the power of Jesus Christ sacrifice and it’s ability to make us sinless, even while we may still from time to time.

This grace gives us the ability to live for Him to the best of our human ability, until His return. Not giving us clemency to sin, but grace for when we do to keep us in good standing with the Most High. So do not be deterred when we may sin remember Deuteronomy  31:6, “

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you,” Shalom.

Scripture Study- The Bible, The Living Word Of YAH!

10 Jul

Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The Word of YAH, The Holy Bible is not merely words on a page but truly transformative! The term living means truly alive. The Word of YAH created the natural world as recorded in Psalm 33:6, “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” The Scriptures are so much more than words on paper, but words of the living God.

Dictated to man and recorded, when we read the scriptures it’s powerful as stated in the first verse of Hebrews 4:12. It can create, revive (John 11:43) and most importantly save (Romans 10:13). Daily scripture reading empowers the Spirit and unlocks creative thinking, talent, purpose, healing and knowledge of who we are in Jesus Christ, Shalom.

Scripture Study- Mark 8:35

5 Jun

“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.”

In Mark 8:35 Christ simplifies the Gospel in one short statement. When Christ said, “whoever desires to save their life will lose it,” references those who look to other means other than the Cross for salvation in the end will lose. This means man made philosophy, religions, people, and good deeds are all meaningless.

The Most High provided the only atonement for sin in Christ  (Acts 4:12) based on his divine law. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and all have sinned (Romans 3:23). Therefore the sacrifice Christ made and us accepting him as our Savior can be our only means for redemption in the eyes of YAH.

In the latter part of the scripture Jesus states, “whoever loses their life for My sake and the Gospel will save it” means to deny your own will  for His, to spread the Gospel. This good news of the Gospel is the saving grace for everyone, in knowing that we can once again be made whole. In Jesus Christ their is restoration, forgiveness, purpose, love, edification, knowledge of truth, and most importantly life, Shalom
