Romans 1:24-25 is looked at as a punishment from YAH. This punishment, is giving those who deny Him the misfortune of living outside of His will. Outside of the presence of the Most High lies rebellion, lust, godliness and death. YAH giving the unrepentant over to their lust, proclaims they wanted a life apart from Him, by denying the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:24-25 in short represents the unsaved world and the sins within it, godless and full of destruction. YAH however offers all an escape from this in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 10:13, “
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
1 Corinthians 6:20, “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
As we move more and more into a godless society where we reference more secular means of enlightenment, we need to stand firmly on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Our value in the eyes of the Most High is that of knowing exactly what Christ has done for the world. This is dying for the sins of every man and woman and thus granting us the grace and mercy to walk with YAH. While the world recognizes a higher power, it is not always YAH or Jesus that they are referencing when this is said. Being born again believers we need to always insert Jesus Christ in the matter in being the sin atonement for our sins, his sacrifice grants the Holy Spirit the liberty to work in our lives. John 14: 26, But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Reflecting the finished work of Jesus in our lives gives every man and woman value in the eyes of YAH, by knowing that He can work through us to bring His kingdom back to this sinful world (Matthew 6:10) in being a living sacrifice and testimony unto Him. To remain of value is to remain fully embedded in the Cross of Jesus Christ. While other beliefs can offer temporary happiness, Jesus offers eternal happiness and life as stated in John 3:16. I pray that the body of Christ remains bold in teaching all of what Jesus has done for us, and remain valuable witnesses to the finished work of Jesus Christ, Shalom…
“The Bible states that Jesus Christ is the atonement for our sins, the perfect sacrifice unto YAH (1 John 2:2). The Apostle Paul is simply saying if Christ was not risen His sacrifice was in vain and deemed unworthy in the eyes of YAH, thus making the Gospel null. However we know that the sacrifice Christ made was good in the eyes of YAH, as recorded in Matthew 28:5-6, “
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
Without the Lord’s resurrection the Gospel is no different than other religions, placing salvation on good works but no true escape from sin and death. I praise the Most High for Jesus Christ and raising him from the grave for the remission of sin and death, Shalom…
It’s such a blessing to have the Lord Jesus Christ interceding on our behalf (Romans 6:23), helping us throughout this sinful world. The book of Exodus is an awesome testimony of what God can do when we turn our situation over and trust in Him fully. The impossible is achieved, from freeing us from the bondage of sin as recorded in 1 John 2:1, “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
YAH wants to take away our sins and hardships of this world, John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” What can the Lord do for us in Christ? Ephesians 3:20 states, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The answer is above and beyond our asking according to His will.
What is this power that works in us? The power of the Holy Spirit who will open our eyes so we can all that He can do, Shalom
Psalm 68:4, “Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him.
I believe that it’s with good reason that Psalms is the longest book of the Bible. Singing unto YAH is one of the highest forms of worship anyone can offer unto the Most High. Singing songs of His glory has been one of the most popular and oldest choices of worship even amongst the Angels (Job 38:7, Luke 38:7). Why should we sing? I believe this is a true expression of our own human Spirit. For example, the music artist whose songs we stream or listen to on the radio all glorify a particular feeling. Whether it be love, happiness or anger they open up to their listeners to convey a particular message giving them their true essence.
Even Jesus sang with the disciples during the last supper, Matthew 26:27-30 reads, “Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives
This release of spiritual energy by believers whether in listening to a recorded song and singing along, can be played throughout our day. Praising YAH in song needs to be a daily practice not just reserved for Sunday worship, Shalom…
Isaiah 14: 12-15 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.
The fall of Satan from Heaven is a great teaching moment for all of YAH’s followers. Whereas in all of Satan’s prestige amongst the other hosts of heaven still chose pride as His god. We as Believers are given this choice everyday between our own will or that of YAH. Where we may at times have a lapse in our judgment and decide on what we want, the blood of Jesus is still there to keep us from final condemnation. The ideal of worldly goods and pleasures are very appealing to the flesh and is a constant enemy of our spirit (Galatians 5:17), however the blood of Jesus can always keep us from falling away (Romans 5:9)
Satan has always wanted mankind out of the way, so that He could have once again all the glory that was originally bestowed upon Him. Every act that He has taken to destroy mankind has and will always fail due to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and power given to us by the Holy Spirit. I pray that we always choose YAH and not the pride of our own glory to keep Christ at the forefront of all, Shalom…
1 John 5:4, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
The Word of YAH states that Faith is the key factor in overcoming the this world. Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ that cleanses us of all sin. Our Faith reconciles is back unto the Lord. This, by way of His Holy Spirit allows us to put on the full armor of YAH (Ephesians 6:10-11), which protects and allows every Believer to stand firmly against the Devil.
Our Faith in the Cross of Christ is the true factor, not tithes, good deeds or Church attendance, but Faith will allow us to overcome the world as stated in John 16:33, “ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Christ triumph at the Cross overcomes, depression, sickness, poverty and in the end death! We must always look to the Cross to overcome the tribulations of this world, Shalom…
Psalm 139:7 has a two-part meaning about YAH. The first deals with the natural world, where the invisible God is ever present when have eyes to see. First we can see YAH in nature (Genesis 1:11-12) having created the birds, flowers and tress, the rising and setting of sun and moon (Amos 5:8). As being created in His image we also create everyday, for example construction workers building roads imitating His image (Hebrews 11:3).
The second part refers to our sin nature, and no matter how far we have fallen He is there to pick us back up Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Shalom
1 John 5:19, “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
Many individuals with a casual understanding of YAH, continually ask this question. It is only from reading and understanding the scriptures, one can come to a correct understanding of why? And the answer is very simple, we still live in a fallen world influenced by Satan. Salvation is offered to all through Jesus Christ, however many reject this salvation and remain under the sway of Satan. Thus allowing the struggle between good and evil to continue.
This sway or sin nature not only affects mankind in our thoughts and actions but also our health, physical world, and natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes. One can reach this conclusion by knowing that through sin death entered the world (Romans 5: 12-19). Poor health or being caught in a natural disaster can result in an untimely death for believers and none believers alike. This is due to us all living in a sinful fallen world that will not be restored until Jesus Christ returns 1 Corinthians 15:26, “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”
This is why the Bible asks for all to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) to protect us from every evil. While under the blood of Christ we are cleansed of sin, death still exists for everyone until His return. We all will pass from this world through death as a result of the sin still inhabiting it; but those in Him will live again as stated in John 11:25, “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world,” Shalom…
