Deuteronomy 30:3-5 “God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he’ll have compassion on you; he’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered. No matter how far away you end up, God, your God, will get you out of there and bring you back to the land your ancestors once possessed. It will be yours again. He will give you a good life and make you more numerous than your ancestors.
The above scripture, speaks of the Hebrew Israelites who after escaping captivity lost their identity in the world. The Old Testament stories of them relate directly to the current spiritual state of man after the fall. A fall, that to this day we as YAH children struggle to overcome .
The Bible describes the fall of man as creating a broken relationship with YAH the father. Symbolically the fall of man created broken pieces in us (Psalm 51:17). This brokenness occurred at a time in our lives when we needed God the most. Whether in alcohol or drug abuse, or in sexual abuse, these unfortunate events fractured our Spirit throughout the course of our life.
Deuteronomy 30:3-5 states that no matter when, where or how, the Holy Spirit of God will find you and restore you. From a broken childhood or fractured upbringing, He will find you and get you Spiritually out of that place. This is accomplished through His Spiritual authority to operate in our lives, by the blood of Jesus.
The power of the blood of Christ, will overcome the ills of this world (John 16:33). In Christ we will overcome all pain and suffering, and enjoy the security that comes in the Father. I ask that we do not let the people, places and situations when we may have been taken advantage of and lost our innocence destroy us, but allow Jesus to take that situation and make us stronger.
