James 4:7-8, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
After Sunday service, how many Believers can say they remain in YAH’s Spirit throughout the coming week? Work, society, friends and family bring a host of issues that can draw Christians away from the Lord. One answer, is to stay in the Bible and pray however, more needed to stay in His presence.
Reading the Holy scriptures along with prayer needs to be supplemented with submission. This submission is through our Will, Mind, Body, Time and Money. Our will must be His to own, as a Spiritual being YAH requires a physical body to manifest his will. A example of this is through Jesus. God created a body to manifest his physical nature to the world, and to express His divine plan for mankind.
Our will is submitted to the Father through focusing our mind on Him, through thought and meditation. Focusing our Spirit toward his divine purpose, which allows for our thinking to continuously stay on Him. Our Body, Time and Money should always be on His Kingdom and bringing it to this world. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle with diet and exercise is key to staying healthy for the Lord’s will for us.
Time and money is also so precious to YAH. Time is the one resource that we can never get back. Be sure you focus on being positive, helping others and being a great ambassador for the Kingdom. Lastly, money needs to be submitted unto God. Money is not just tithes or offerings but also for our enjoyment and to help others. Donating to charities greatly pleases the Lord as well, Hebrews 13:16.
In order to remain in God’s complete submission of our lives is required. Only by doing this can we resist the Evil One and live our best lives in Him, Shalom…
