Isaiah 9:6,”For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
The Bible states that their will be no world peace, until the Prince of Peace returns! Despite the promise of men and women to make things better under a prescribed leadership, the world will continue to be in disarray. This is due to the world operating under the dictation of people and not God’s Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit of God is the only to live on the “shoulder,” of God as stated in Isaiah 9:6. The Spirit, once we have accepted the sacrifice of Christ at the cross comes to provide the comfort and values the Lord ordained for us to live by 2 Peter 1:3-4. This provides us the insight to bring God’s will into this world.
As we pray for our leaders in this world, lets all pray they turn to God. This will provide them clear insight into what God has planned as we look to the Heavens for the return of the one true Prince of Peace…
